LPGA-USGA Girls Golf provides an opportunity for girls, ages 7 to 17, to learn to play golf, build lasting friendships and experience competition in a fun, supportive environment, preparing them for a lifetime of enjoyment with the game. Girls are learning values inherent to the game of golf, such as practice, respect, perseverance, and honesty, preparing them to meet challenges of today's world with confidence.

LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of Raleigh

WILDWOOD GREEN GOLF CLUB, Raleigh, NC
The first LPGA-USGA Girls Golf program in the Triangle was launched at Wildwood Green Golf Course in Raleigh in May, 2007. Etiquette, skills, fun and friends is the underlying theme for the Wildwood Girls Golf program led by Colby Cobb. Colby competed on the NC State Womens Golf Team from 2001-2005 and was named the 1999 Beth Daniel Player of the Year in South Carolina. She has passed the PAT exam en route to PGA Teaching Certification. Wildwood Green Golf Course is located in North Raleigh at 3000 Ballybunion Way. LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of Durham

HILLANDALE GOLF COURSE, Durham, NC
The LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Program in Durham will kickoff at Hillandale Golf Course in September 2007. Practice and enjoyment are keywords Fran incorporates in her programs. Fran is one of the most accomplished female golf professionals in the Triangle and has taught many area golfers as a Class A LPGA Teaching & Club Professional, guest instructor for Peggy Kirk Bell “Golfari” at Pine Needles Golf Resort, participating pro in Play Golf America,  and advocate for Women’s Week, Bring Your Daughter to the course. LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of Chapel Hill

THE PRESERVE AT JORDAN LAKE GOLF CLUB, Chapel Hill, NC
“Golf is a game, and games are meant to be fun.” That’s the philosophy of Dona Lerner, a highly successful golf instructor and coach. Dona herself had success in the junior & collegiate ranks and enjoys working with golfers of all ages and skill levels. An LPGA Teaching & Club Professional Class A Member, Dona also currently serves as a National Evaluator for the LPGA T&CP. She is the Head Girls Golf Coach at Green Hope HS & the Head Boys Golf Coach at Cary HS, both located in Cary, NC. The Preserve at Jordan Lake Golf Club is located at 840 The Preserve Trail in Chapel Hill.
